CONSULTATION FEES
The overall cost of completing the counselling process will depend on the amount of time needed for you to explore, heal and generate new skills in your life.
Our Consultation Fee for a 50-60 minute session is,
Counselling Psychologist: $235
Clinical Psychologist: $270
Medicare and Health Fund Rebates available where eligible.
To assist in affordability, our fees are less than the Australian Psychological Society recommended fee of $300.

Less than 48 hours notice: will be charged at the full fee
Medical Practitioners can initiate a referral to access our services for Clients eligible under the Medicare Mental Health Plan Scheme. Please ring our friendly reception staff for detail if needed, or consult your family GP.
(If you are going to request a Medical Mental Health Plan most GP’s ask that you let their Receptionist know this, so they can book and extended appointment time for you.)
Medicare allows for 10 sessions per calendar year, after attending the first six, the Psychologist will send a letter regarding your progress and request a Medicare Mental Health Review Plan to enable you to receive a further four sessions at the GP’s consent. These sessions renew on the 1st January each year, at which time you are eligible for a further 10 sessions for the next calendar year.
We offer short and long term counselling services for clients eligible for Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident insurance. Common referrals include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety and depression, panic disorder, harassment in the workplace, anger management, adjustment disorder, and management of disability and/or chronic pain. Counselling assists clients with debriefing of workplace incidents, management and relief of symptoms, emotional regulation, communication and assertiveness skills, adjustment to work and life changes, case conferences, and facilitation where appropriate of their transition back to the workplace.
