Zsofi is a compassionate psychologist with a strong interest in youth mental health, and supporting individuals across the lifespan to understand trauma, navigate complex mental illness, explore relationships and process grief. Confident working with a variety of presentations, she draws on a range of therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Schema Therapy and trauma-focused approaches. Zsofi has practised in the public and private mental health systems, in adult and youth inpatient and community mental health.

Zsofi believes in a warm, empathic, and reflective therapeutic style, walking alongside her clients in their healing journey. She takes a relational approach, acknowledging each client as the expert in their experiences and collaboratively works with them to achieve their mental health goals. Zsofi also believes in the family system, recognising the interconnectedness of family members and how changes in one part of the system can impact the entire family unit.

Engaged in both research and a Doctor of Philosophy program at The Brain and Mind Centre, The University of Sydney, where she focuses on complex mental illness and early intervention, Zsofi’s clinical approach is grounded in cutting-edge research and evidence. Additionally, she has earned a Master of Clinical Psychology, a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology).

Zsofi is committed to creating a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences, taking a holistic approach that addresses both symptoms and other factors influencing wellbeing.
